// Teaching Philosophy
My philosophy of education is to guide and help students broaden their perspectives on learning, explore their potentials and unique abilities, pursue acting and singing with healthy mind and body, and ultimately enjoy their work. In my studio, we set up short-term and long-term goals so we can work together to achieve them in practical and realistic direction to succeed. I have taught voice and acting to all levels and ages from as youngest as age 4 to professionally working adults. From my years of teaching experiences, I have learned how to be in tune with each student’s ability and biological built in order to provide them with the best tools to become a successful singer and actor in the healthy and efficient way. As a professional performer myself, I understand that it is crucial that performer must know how to maintain a healthy voice and prepare each material with confidence in order to have a successful career. I can guide you, teach you, and cheer for you so you can succeed in finding your own natural voice! I continue to teach because I love watching my students succeed and shine. I will help each student find their unique self so they can feel confident in pursuing and preparing for their next project!

TESTIMONIALS
Jina is an excellent life and theatre coach. Not only is she highly experienced and knowledgeable in a variety of different fields, but she is extremely enthusiastic and dedicated to helping me succeed. She has guided me with everything from formatting my first ever scientific curriculum vitae (CV) to seeking the best online acting classes. Jina is flexible and always willing to work around my schedule, and she is incredibly thorough, making sure to examine each detail of what we are working on with utmost care. From laboratory advice to professional musical theatre tips, Jina is a tremendous coach! - Riley Glick
Working with Jina is always one of my favorite parts of BAA each summer. She is always encouraging with her positive attitude, yet honest with all corrections and suggestions. After working with Jina, I feel ready to go and well prepared! Her coaching is great. She helps you break down what the song means to you - what you want and how to get it - to make sure you have a beginning, middle, and end. Jina never shys away from explaining the technical side of things too! I’m convinced she can answer any question about how the voice works. Another really cool thing about Jina is not only does she teach, she performs! It’s really great having a teacher who personally understands what you’re trying to accomplish. Working with Jina is always a highlight of my day! - Sophia Manicone
I started working with Jina during my sophomore year of high school when I was a voice major at Broadway Artists Alliance (BAA). Jina was my student advisor, and she helped me pick out great material for the final showcase. Morever, she made me feel more excited rather than nervous about my performance in the showcase. I continued to have Jina as my BAA advisor for many more counseling sessions and college workshops. Like many high school students, I was stressed about college applications, as well as the audition process. Luckily, Jina prepared me for college auditions by helping me find material that I felt a strong connection with. As a result of Jina's guidance, I walked into my college auditions feeling confident and prepared. Thanks to her mentorship and supportive energy, I got into my dream school of NYU Tisch, and I am very excited to be to attending NYU. - Liza Beinus
